02How it works

Matched. Now we write it.

We know writing a funding application can be hard, which is why we’ve created our new AI assistant. Simply answer a series of questions by talking to it, just like you would another person, and it’ll draft your application, ready for review by one of our funding experts.

Your match becomes an application

Pick a grant from your shortlist and we set it up for you: an agreed service window, a named funding advisor, and a checklist of exactly what the funder needs.

The platform writes it

Using everything you’ve already told us, our assistant drafts a submission-ready application. If the funder needs something new, we ask once. You review and edit every answer until you’re happy.

The expert review

Once you’re happy, it goes to our funding experts for a further pass to get it ready for final submission. You review anything new, and then it’s ready to submit.

What happens after?

No matter what the outcome of your application is, the information you provided doesn’t go to waste. All the content can be re-used next time, meaning your matches get better and future funding applications become faster and more accurate every time.

In 2019, Mat and Luke won two six-figure grants for their own startup and found the application process opaque, confusing and slow. There had to be a better way, so they built one.

Grantify is a team of funding advisors, grant experts and the people who build the platform, operating across the UK and the US. Our assistant does the first draft. Our experts make sure nothing goes to a funder unread.
